Coarse-grained graphite crucible has the characteristics of small thermal expansion coefficient of graphite material in high-temperature working environment, good strain resistance to rapid cooling and rapid heating environment, strong corrosion resistance to acid and alkali solutions, and good chemical stability. Compared with high-purity graphite, it has better thermal conductivity and saves smelting energy consumption. It is widely used in the smelting of alloy tool steel and the smelting of non-ferrous metals and their alloys in metallurgy, casting, machinery, chemical and other industrial sectors.
Coarse-grained graphite crucibles are mostly processed and formed large-capacity crucibles, which can well control the size error of the crucible within ±0.1mm, and have better adaptability and cooperation with melting furnaces. Our company can customize large-size crucibles of any shape according to customers' drawings.
Our synthetic graphite coarse particle crucible machined from pure graphite raw blocks. It starts to oxidize at 400℃ and accelerates at 900 degrees. If it is in a vacuum furnace environment or protected by an inert gas (common inert gases include helium (He) ), argon (Ar), krypton (Kr), xenon (Xe) and radioactive radon (Rn)), the oxidation rate of the crucible will be significantly slowed down. Under inert gas protection or vacuum state, the recommended temperature for graphite crucible is below 2800℃; if it is an electric furnace under air state, the recommended temperature is below 1800℃.
The specific parameters of the material are as follows:
Materials | LTMG-2 | LTMG-0.8 |
Bulk Density g/cm3 | ≥1.60 | ≥1.70 |
Electrical Resistivity uΩ·m | ≤12 | ≤8 |
Flexural Strength MPa | ≥10 | ≥18 |
Compressive Strength MPa | ≥25 | ≥37 |
Ash content % | ≤0.3 | ≤0.13 |
