The challenges faced in the platinum smelting process are the high temperature environment of -3000 degrees and the corrosion of various acid and alkali fluxing agents. L.T Graphite has developed a suitable high-purity corrosion-resistant graphite crucible based on the characteristics of platinum smelting:

1. Crucible structure is fine and the porosity is extremely low to ≤11%. The inner and outer walls of the crucible can be mirror polished, which highlights the lubricity of the graphite material and makes it difficult for the molten material to adhere to the crucible wall.
2. Carbon content reaches 99.99%, and the impurity content is extremely low, so it will not pollute the molten material.
3. Temperature resistance is more prominent, it can withstand high temperature above 2000 ºC, and it is not easy to oxidize.
