Flake Graphite and Micronized Graphite

Our company adopts high-quality raw ore, after multi-stage grinding, multiple flotation, chemical purification, electrochemical purification, ultra-fine powder crushing and other processing methods, according to customer needs, we can produce products with a carbon content of 80%-99.99% and a particle size within the range of 500 microns to 0.5 microns. There are special requirements for moisture, ash, on-sieve and under-sieve content, trace element content and particle size distribution ratio, etc., and our company can customize production according to specific requirements.

Both micropowder graphite and flake graphite are crushed and processed from natural flake graphite: flake graphite is the product of primary crushing and pressing of natural graphite, while micropowder graphite is the product of deep crushing of natural graphite. The most important difference between the two is the particle size. The coarser particle size is flake graphite, and the finer particle size is micropowder graphite. Classified according to the level of carbon content: C%>99.9% is high-purity graphite; 94%<C%<99% is high-carbon graphite; 80%<C%<94% is medium-carbon graphite; 50%<C%<80% is low-carbon graphite.


Flake graphite has complete crystallization, thin flakes and good toughness, excellent physical and chemical properties, and has good temperature resistance, self-lubrication, conductivity, thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance, etc.


Micro-powder graphite Our company adopts high-speed pulverizer, Raymond mill, jet mill and other grinding equipment to produce various types of micro-powder graphite series products.

Flake graphite and fine powder graphite are widely used in advanced refractory materials and coatings in the metallurgical industry, stabilizers for pyrotechnic materials in the military industry, pencil leads in the light industry, carbon brushes in the electrical industry, electrodes in the battery industry, catalysts and additives in the fertilizer industry, etc. After deep processing, flake graphite can produce graphite milk, graphite sealing materials and composite materials, fillers or modifiers for various composite materials of plastics, graphite additives to reduce wear, etc., becoming an important non-metallic mineral raw material in various industrial sectors.


Typical application: Flake graphite is used on the surface of copper smelting furnace to isolate and resist oxidation, prevent oxidation of molten copper water, and ensure the purity of copper water. Parameters for this application:

In paper sacks of 20-30 kg. No metal seals on the sacks allowed

The graphite has to be free flowing, not dusting and harmful impurities must not dissolve from the product into the melt.
