Graphite single crystal for new energy and smelting

Graphite single crystal refers to a single crystal that is characterized by consistent crystallographic orientations throughout its interior (except for orientation differences caused by crystal defects), so it can show the inherent anisotropy of the crystal and its appearance. It can be either a regular polyhedron or an irregular shape. Graphite that conforms to this characteristic is called graphite single crystal.

blast furnace graphite

When iron is made in a blast furnace, blast furnace graphite, also known as agglomerated graphite, will precipitate from the iron melt. Its structure was determined by X-ray diffraction method, and the spectral lines obtained were very similar to natural flake graphite.


Using scanning electron microscopy and electron diffraction to determine its structure (as shown in the picture) confirmed that it is indeed a perfectly crystallized graphite single crystal.
